A little disappointing that McCulley didnt get an at large invite, because I think he really could have won a few matches and helped the Pokes out...but he will have the next 3 years to qualify.

LeBlanc has to come out focused because he got a pretty darn tough first round opponent! Thats how the non-seeded draws work, you have no idea who you may get. If Martinez can win his first match (against a good PSU wrestler), he will set himself up well to place.

Overall, I think the Pokes have a realistic shot at going 5-1 in the first round (Patrick Martinez has a tough draw) and I think the Pokes could then go 5-0 in the 2nd round!

Cant wait!

Helbig should have gotten an invite.. McCulley too. But this is a promising team! Has some potential in the tournmanet. LeBlanc needs to make weight this year!

No, Helbig was barely .500 and the WWC had a really weak heavyweight division. Helbig is a great competitor he is just way too small for heavyweight.

McCulley has been ranked for most of the 2nd half of the season and is like 24-9 in a strong weightclass in the WWC...he should have got the invite.

You know who really got hosed was Josh Asper from Maryland.. he was Onufer's opponent in the "Best of the Best" dual at the beginning of the season.. the match that him and LeBlanc were invited to. He ended up in the pig tail as a 7 seed.
