Ah, the fallout for The University of Miami rears its head
Sad thing is, those "extra benefits" were probably things like McDonalds or something for lunch.

Meanwhile, Miami is still skipping around like a little girl, who at worst, gets a light tap on the wrist for their "lack of institutional control".

Why is this rearing its ugly head? This is old news............. All coaches have resigned and moved on the AD has retired so all remnants of the old cartel are gone! They are now in Grand Junction at MESA.

maybe it's how long NAIA takes to get things done at their level

NAIA and NCAA are completely different organizations. Chadron is a NCAA Division 2 team. If it was NAIA, doubtful there would be any penalties.

so did the Miami incident. My point was that Miami cheated so much the NCAA punished Chadron St. The same happened with Boise. North Carolina cheated so much Boise got punished. There is a total lack of consistency with the NCAA penalties

Penalties are often related to what you can prove. In the Chadron case, the coach had direct control of the accounts and was making direct payments. While we look at the payments at small, they provide a much easier way to prove the culpability of the coach compared to the Miami case.

Not sure how you claim they are all at Mesa. According to their website, only 3 (out of 9) coaches on the Mesa staff with any direct connection to Chadron, and O'Boyle, the guy actually accused is an O-Line coach at Southern Illinois.
