My official MWC prediction....

1. Boise State (BCS bowl)
2. TCU (Las Vegas Bowl)
3. Air Force (Independence Bowl)
4. San Diego State (Pionsettia Bowl)
5. Wyoming (Armed Forces Bowl)
6. Colorado State (New Mexico Bowl)
7. UNLV
8. New Mexico

We'll go 7-5 (3-4 in MWC play).

7-5 is definitely optimistic, but I can't argue with the order the standings are in.

Seems pretty reasonable to me. That means beating the two FCS teams, Bowling Green and Utah State, then beating UNLV and New Mexico at home and the Sheep on the road. All very doable, plus I don't think upsetting Air Force or SDSU is completely out of the question either.

Especially considering that the games against both have been VERY close. Air Force will be hard, but they don't have Reggie Rembert anymore, and their defensive front is not that big even by Air Force standards. Though their offense will be scary. SDSU though not only lost their best players to the draft, but their OC and HC as well. They will be relying heavily on the run game which we stuffed last year.

Air Force will be tough, but we were beating them in the 4th quarter last year and that is after shooting ourselves in the foot a few times. And, we still had a chance to win late if not for a dropped pass.

SDSU is overhyped and will finish below the Pokes this year. They have littel size or depth on their Dline and don't have their two stud WR's this year. In fact, they last their best backups to injury already this year. I think we beat them.

Will TCU have a FR QB this year, or do they have someone lined out? Remember what happened last time TCU came to Laramie with a FR QB? I think with only 8 returning starters (I'm pretty sure), they are the most vulnerable they've been in years. Not saying we are going to beat them, but it if we ever were to again.

Dont quote me on this but they have a pretty good Sophomore coming back
Correct. Casey Pachall. Good player but has his issues. Played terribly against UNM last year when called upon. He'll be good, but might struggle mightily against AFA, BSU, BYU, etc.

Yet another starting WR goes down for SDSU! They are now starting a 2nd stringer and two 3rd stringers. Expect the Aztecs to take a significant step backwards this year. I figured Rocky Long would do that to them anyway, but this escalates things. If Lindley or Hillman go down, can you say 1-11?

It isn't out of the realm that TCU could go down several times this year. Lost a lot of players and young QB.

Their QB though is supposed to be faster and have a better arm than Dalton. His main drawback though is experience. However, I can't say much, just what I've heard about him.

I think BSU is a definite loss, with AFA, BYU, and maybe a super outside shot at Baylor being losses. TCU recruits such a high level of talent that, against certain teams, it won't matter what they lost.
