My money on McBride's first play from scrimmage...

Is a bomb. Just like him. Does 2 things, if they catch it, we lose home field for a while. If they don't, our DB's go into the pattened "15 yards off the ball" formation, and give up chunks the rest of the game.

If McBride goes for the bomb on the first play, I call either a sack or a hurry. Knowing that won't have much time to throw, they go strictly to a ground game and have a tough time getting into Wyoming territory the rest of the game.

i actaully agree with this thread. i also think that is the way to go on the first play. i would say that is wsu style, but then again, it is really maybe just mac style! :thumb: only prob is we dont have the wide-outs of the past few yrs to rely on.

Agreed we tend to play soft on the edges and with an inexperienced secondary i would air it out the first few plays. I think you are right then we will play soft and give up the short routes.
