Which means what? He's suspended for a game or something?

After looking back on it, I can hardly blame DC for getting pissed. For the lousy refs we've been getting, lousy calls (or lack thereof in some cases), Calhoun telling his QB to fake the injury, and then getting in DC's face afterwards. I honestly don't know how anyone else would have reacted after all of this, but I don't know if I would have reacted much differently after all of that.

Don't think it means anything. He just gets a public slap on the wrist from the league not a big deal. Doubt tyhe league can fine coaches and suspension would be extreme and not even sure if the league could do it.

Just a public reprimand, no fines or suspensions. He is subject to fines and/or suspensions should he receive another one in the next 12 months.

and yes, the league can issue fines and/or suspensions

at the time watching it live I couldn't figure it out, then I thought about it, what an academy award, falling down and such, if a rule is a rule scrape him off the field get the play ran and get on with it. I was yelling at him to get up etc...I agree with DC for his comments whole heartedly, but it's definetely not our year.

.. for being honest which is against conf rules when what you have to say is negative about another member.

I think its telling that they are not denying it. Troys initial reaction was to look at the cameraguy not say crap, smirk in dcs face and follow him towards our locker room after chasing down our players in the endzone. Any denial now is rehearsed like the injury. In the moment troy didn't say what the hell? And look confused by the comments.... he smirks, like yeah we did it, so what?

This is actually a good point. He knew exactly what Dave was talking about...

you hit the nail on the head! If AF hadn't done it, you would have seen a much different reaction.

maybe the MWC should reprimand some refs.

I think initially he was running into the endzone to tell our defenders to go shake hands rather than head to the locker room. Then DC shakes his hand and lets him know he didnt like the fake injury, so he walks next to DC smirking in his face just to gloat that he got away with it. No other explanation for his reaction. Wink, see the camera guy, smirk... nice reaction?!

In the Gazette the writer notes that it was suspicious and that they did the exact same thing vs Michigan. They did it, got away with it and he gloats in DCs face about it....yet he did Nothing wrong??

"He got hit in the head" is not a denial that he was stalling.
