Yeah, as much as I hate to say it, I can't hold it against the sheep for being lamb-basted by the Cards.
BSU has always had issues with defense, and that was badly exposed in their 1 and done.
SDSU is the most inconsistent team in the conference. They can be beat OU one night and then lose to a school no one has ever heard of. Or score 9 points in a half.
UNLV, well, away from home, they struggle in every aspect, and it shows. Despite all of their talent, they struggle a lot more than they should while traveling.
UNM. Although they have a really good defense and decent talent, their offense looks way too much like ours too often. In a bad way. And despite massive advantages over Harvard, Harvard cleaned their clock good.
So while I can give the sheep a pass, due to smacking Mizzou around and then having to go up against the best team in the country and getting smacked by them, the rest have had these issues all year and have no excuse. Maybe BSU, due to nearly the entire starting lineup being underclassmen, but ignoring defense is a good way to lose a lot.

UNM brings alot of players back, UNLV Moser and Bennett will jump, CSU let's see how good Eustachy really is, Boise should be ok, SDSU, does Franklin stay or test NBA waters??
Air Force loses alot of Seniors, UW, Papa Shyatt's true test next year, Nevada will improve, but I really see Fresno being a true test next year.
San Jose St ????, Utah State, yet another obstacle to overcome.
MWC will be down from this year, but I believe still ok!!!

I think the Pokes can step up, if we can make a big run in the CBI, get our young guys more experience and learn how to win again. I think a lot of these teams will struggle next season. The Pokes need Hankerson to be what we hope he is. And we need someone like Vernon to be the real deal. Someone that can come in and play right away. We know that Nance, and Cooke will be able to ball next season.
We have a ways to go, but I think we can make the Big Dance next season.
We need a better OOC schedule....think Shyatt will try and pull off a home and home with Florida anytime soon?
