Mountain vs West

Saw some interesting stats in the mountain division vs the west division. I can't find the tweet now but it's not close on how lopsided it is. This season alone the mountain has 5 of 6 bowl eligible and the west has 1 of 6. Just thought that was interesting and worthy to bring up... also very bored waiting for this to start.

8 team playoff and prob 3 mountain wins over west. But we only care about #1 vs #1

These things tend to ebb and flow over time, but the Mountain division is definitely much stronger right now.

On another note, that mighty Boise program with such "high expectations" is a very pedestrian 5-5 against Mountain division opponents over the last two seasons. No tears shed here.

Also, it was Chris Murray w/ the Reno Gazette that had the tweets. I think the Mountain is rolling the West since the conference split as well.
