I've been mostly lurking and eventually commenting on this site for a couple years, much more actively after gowyogo went mostly paid. This forum has gone to shit. Constant bitching. Not about the team having a crappy year, but because "how dare you have a different opinion than me."
For a bunch of folk preaching about Cowboy Tough, we're pretty thin skinned.

I like this place a lot. You can take your differing opinion and stick it where the sun don't shine!

How was that?

A forum by definition is a public meeting place for open discussion. It's fairly normal in open discussions to have people debating their different opinions. But I agree with your opinion on the "how dare you..." attitude. It goes a little over-board at times.

But let's be fair to all of us posters, we've covered the team having a crappy year in pretty good depth; the AD, coaching staff, players, trainer, lack of fan support, funding from the state, etc. I think that only leaves the cheer leaders and the girls carrying around the gatorade, and they certainly need to up their game if we expect to get back on track!

That and we need a full sized "Cowboy Joe Horse". A massive, fire breathing, hoss that has be held by chains and highly trained personnel in protective equipment. A specimen that instills fear by just looking at him.

Okay, okay, how about just a non-pony?

I think the frustration of losing has a lot to do with the attitudes. And I'm not sure any of us see that light at the end of the tunnel yet. So we sit here and play arm chair coach/AD and it can get a little heated.
