Milo Hall transferring

Does anyone know where Hall might land? I am hoping he lands in Greeley. I think UNC, and Wyo were the only schools to offer him a scholarship out of high school.

He’s at UNC, and I’m hearing they are thrilled to have him. Great kid who’s been through a lot. Hope he kills it there!

Milo didn't really look good last year toting the rock for us, but very, very, very few would have in our predictable, anemic offense. I have a feeling that if Milo's given room to operate he could have be a dynamic player. Hopefully he gets that chance at UNC

Good news! Glad he is in Greeley. I don't think he will start at running back, as we have a senior stud running the rock this year. However, he is often injured and our depth isn't great. He will transfer in as a junior, correct?

I don't believe that he would be available to play this year. I was under the impression that (outside of a grad transfer) an FBS player transferring to any Division 1 school (even FCS) must sit out a year.

Also, he should have 3 years to play 2 as I don't believe he used a redshirt.

Pretty sure they can play right away in FCS as a FBS transfer (assuming academically eligible, etc.).

Basketball is different, as there are no sub-classifications, but I think in Football FBS to FCS can play right away. I know that definitely used to be the case, it might have changed, but I don't think so.

This article does a good job of deciphering the transfer rules:
