Mike Vorel nails it...again

Vorel's front page piece on interim DC Jamar Cain in today's CST is yet another example of exemplary sports writing that is not commonly found in newspapers - or sports sections in Wyoming.

It should be easy for anyone to discern that Vorel is a writer who loves his work immensely and pours his heart and soul into everything he writes.

This kid is a worker.

I described him as a 'machine' a few days ago on another thread - this is more evidence of that claim.

Enjoy Vorel while you can, because a young guy like him with this kind of hunger and ambition won't be in these parts much longer.

Holy shit what a great write up. Makes you wonder if this ship can be righted over the course of a bye week. I know we arent going from where we were to the #1 D in the country but can we get this turd floating in the right direction and make 5-7 more plays a game on the D side....We win atleast 2 of our losses if our D makes 5-7 more plays....this could be a big deal for our program...or it could be nothing. Tonight cannot come fast enough. I wish Cain nothing but success and hope hes our answer.

Wow. Players really respounding to Cain well, and like him. Let's be honest, some people here thought that some players were going to reject Cain, but it sounds like they all approve of it, and he even has the support of not only the offense, but of Brett Smith as well.
