Might be good news on that BYU @ Wyoming game in 2024

Here's the part that concerns us....

Additionally, per Wyoming’s official website, their contest with BYU in Laramie in 2024 has been moved up two weeks from Sept. 28 to Sept. 14, which was previously the date of the BYU-Hawaii game. That move likely came at the request of the Big 12.

I agree but...unless we get another pandemic that shuts things down within a few weeks from now, etc.....we gotta play them in Provo. At least the return game is still scheduled even thought the Evil Empire is heading for the Big 12 in 2023. Safe bet they'll kill off that league within 5-6 years.
 
I've changed my thoughts on this. We have to play there (thanks Burman...never will forgive you), but now, I hope they do cancel the return game while paying a buyout. Even if they don't have to pay buyout, it won't hurt my feelings if the return game doesn't happen.

The series can be laid to rest forever.
 
Good news would have been that BYU is being replaced on next year's schedule by Weber State (or any other group of collegiate players that are authorized to play football under the JUCO, NAIA or NCAA FBS, FCS, DIVII and DIVIII banners).
 
Anyone going to Provostan this fall? I went the last time when we got fucked on a HUGE P.I. no-call toward the end of the game. Never again. They will never get another red cent of ticket revenue money from me. They are nothing but a bunch of cheating, elitist, unethical, judgemental, rascist fuckwads.

In other words, the perfect replacement for Oklahoma in the Big 12. Sadly I'm not even joking!!!!!! OU fans are as bad as BYU's.

Yep, dirtiest team in the nation with trash fans. For prayer safety and avoiding subjecting our fans to those scumbags, they should never be on the schedule. Unforgivable putting then back on the schedule.

Trash fans is correct, i had my fake binoculars with whisky in it and all they had was caffeine free Coke lol....but their fans love to use the middle finger towards us Pokes fans, one was so intent on using it with me that i had an usher escort that puke outta the stadium. I'll NEVER watch another game in Provocastan!!!

What will burn you more is when BYU backs out of the return trip to Laramie after we have travelled there. Bank on it. Burman said years ago that he wouldn’t schedule them - and then did the exact opposite.

Burman said we'd never schedule them. Then he did. I told him that I'd never watch or attend those games - they're dead to me. I'm sure he doesn't care about one fan, but maybe enough others will make that decision and he'll regret what he did.

I certainly am not crying, I just hate those motherfuckers to my core, win or lose. Why dig them out (with their "we are independent" temper tantrum)? That was a bush league move by Burman...and most on here are probably right, since they are in the Little3.5 conference now, they likely buy out the return trip. And I have been saving up Asparagus Pee for almost 2 years now, what a waste.
