Met Billy Cockhill today..

So I was at the tailgates prior to the Griz playoff game.. got the chance to meet Billy Cockhill.. seems like a nice enough guy. Pretty knowledgeable from what I could tell, didn't get the chance to talk to him for long. He was decked out in his Griz attire today.. came down from Helena to catch the game.

I wonder if he is trying to get back into coaching somewhere.

Hard to tell. He's going to have to re-establish himself somewhere. Plenty of NAIA schools here in MT, if any are looking.. otherwise he'll have to find someone that's looking.

Spent some time with Billy when he was here in Laramie. He really did have a good offensive mind for the game. We ran out of players to execute --- it’s all about -- recruiting, recruiting, and recruiting. If he wants to get back in to the game some day I hope he will get the chance.

He is a great person to chat with away from the field. But a complete A S S to the players. He will never get the chance to coach again until he works on his on field personality.
