After watching the game against Nevada, I'm starting to think the team is growing up a little more.
You can start to see the freshman and the new transfers starting to mature and get more comfortable. I hope this
translates to playing better. If I'm right then we are hitting this at the perfect time.. get a few more
games to fine tune and then on to MWC tourny...

We can hope that but it will take a few more wins to prove it. But yeah I feel ya, if we get a win tomorrow, who knows we might be able to get the sweep of sdsu, and I feel like whether we win or not at sdsu, we are gonna get UNLV in Laramie. They suck if they are not in Vegas.

I certainly do not think the Pokes get swept by all the teams that beat us in the first half of the season, and we have a decent shot to get to 8-8 or 7-9. And at this point the way we started the season, that would be really promising and I think we could make a run in the Tourney.

I'm with you about a better second half against those teams that beat us.. UNLV & CSU are winnable if we can hit a few 3's and gain some confidience in those games like we did against NEV. We need to come out strong on Saturday against Fresneck, don't need a let down. I think the team is really starting to get it together after the Martinez debacale, took a few more games than I thought to move on....

Biggest key for us in that SDSU game is Josh Adams and his confidence. Since we do a guard heavy lineup we ended up having Adams guard Franklin and he owned Franklin all night.

If he have another solid, not GREAT, but another solid game that should be a big enough boost for him to be ready to take it to Franklin again. Adams likes to step up to the plate, no bigger opportunity to do so by taking on one of the best players in the MWC on his own court.

If unlv beats SDSU, I don't see them bouncing back to beat us. They seem to be too cocky and arrogant and don't have the ability to regroup like a real TEAM.

Here is to hoping that the 2nd half of MWC play is a LOT better. And at the very least hoping for a win over CSU, to tie the make sure we don't get swept by them this year!
