this is gonna be a hell of a test for our defense. I found the highlights of their trouncing of new mexico state.

kasey carrier has nfl written all over him. they attack so many different gaps. sometimes quick inside handoffs, sometimes inside handoffs with a trap and stutter... both extremely effective when the linebackers start cheating.

they are the only team in the nation to not throw an interception yet.

we can't turn the ball over, and we have to get some stops on first and second downs.

they have a good return man too... davie has their offense doing good things. we can't punt to these guys. we have to move the ball and score.

if we can see the same team that showed up for air force... cool. however, there is a chance that Wyoming versus texas state happens again. if there is a lightening delay, Im going to find a witch doctor and sacrifice a chicken.

If there is another lightning delay, its time to bring back the big cannon. Nature is telling us something.

that inside trap and stutter is killing us right now...

its the play that looks like carrier is driving right or left, with the opposite guard pulling...
then carrier cuts back into the gap vacated by the pulling guard... its an assignment issue. I haven't seen much of this type of play. it reminds me of Minnesota Vikings inside power iso cut play, where Peterson looks like he is going right, makes the linebackers commit, then cuts back and goes left.

old school running schemes by coach Davie.
