Great point on Bentz and Tyser. If Keonta Vernon shows up and becomes a force like I think he can, Papa Shy may be able to RS a guy like Haldorson. Especially of Alan Herndon shows any kind of immediate impact. This fall is going to be SO MUCH FUN!NowherePoke said:ItSucksToBeACSURam said:I actually think of all the "young", "low time" guys he was pretty good. He actually contributed at times. Bentz and Tyser (the red head) are both walk-ons though, so it doesn't really matter one way or the other.
The player that I thought should have been redshirted was Austin Haldorson. To me he has the tools to be a very good MWC player but is just not physically ready. I think by the time he is a Jr./Sr. we are going to wish we that year of eligibility back for him.

I agree with this. There wasn't enough depth on this team to redshirt anyone. We'll find out this year how Shyatt feels about red shirting players.WYCowboy said:gopokes1399 said:Shyatt doesnt red shirt guys, i wouldn't be surprised if no one red shirts next year... Just my opinion, but I don't think we had the depth on the team the last two seasons Coach Shyatt has been here for him to red shirt anyone. As the depth builds on this team, I would not be surprised to see some red shirts in the future (especially if someone's academics are in question).
