This project should have been done already. But better late then never.

"We're on a super tight budget" translates to "we probably won't be able to do everything in the revised plan"

Very true.

Comparing the watercolors (artist renderings) of the project when it was rolled out, to what the final project is going to look like, it isn't even going to be remotely similar.

I know I am in the minority, but phase one wasn't impressive to me.

What specific things do you not like? I mean most upgrades in phase 1 were for the players. I liked what they did with the arena by rotating the court but I feel the player facilities could have been a little bit nicer. The whole thing has been a nightmare. I hope the same thing doesn't happen with the HAPC.

Look on the bright side guys...in Minnesota, when you roll out a multi-phase project to get state funding, Phase 2 doesn't even happen.

At my alma matter, we had plans for a "bubble" to go over the football stadium in winter months to make it a year-round facility. Our AD said "The bubble is in Phase 2 of the project. I will tell you that we are going to have a bubble over the field. I’ve been charged with making that happen. I can tell you with the utmost certainty that we will do our hardest work to make that happen."

That was in 2008. Still no bubble. From my understanding, similar thing happened with our basketball facility that was built 20 years ago...

No surprise there. What was originally rolled out as the plan and what we'll get will be two entirely different things. I feel bad for the donors who were sold on the original plan.
