Just made top ten play on sportscenter. Nice aggressive drive with dunk. Wish he would have stayed.
 
Too bad he never worked that hard while being at Wyoming, Maybe it took transferring and being under a coach that demanded more from their players for him to realize his potential but I'm glad he is finally realizing it and not squandering it away.

Desmar had a lot of fire and I really liked watching him play but he was sloppy I blame the majority of that on the coaching staff or lack there of.

That's not true at all they left because the coach that recruited them left and right now they probably regret the choices. Seriously no reason to bad mouth them they had their reason and they didn't bad mouth the university that I saw.

Kids transfer, it happens.

They have the right to make their own life choices without ridicule from perfect strangers.

From my personal experience with them both they were punk asses. Living in the dorms they were total douches. Desmar didn't know his pants could go above his ass And then desmar got arrested for robbing someone at S. Illinois.
 
Things have worked out fine for us. I do wish we had Daylen Harrison around as I think his skill set would mesh very well with the current roster/team. I don't think Mbaye/Jackson would have been a good fit with Shyatt. Everyone is better off this way.

I wish Mbaye would have handled his departure with a little more class, but what can you do?
 
When Shroyer left, we lost some substantial talent. Regardless if they would've fit or what you think, we lost some taken

Amath M'baye OU: 10.6 pts 7.0 rb
Desmar Jackson SIU: 15 pts 6.5 rb 2 as
AJ Davis JMU left before Shyatt but, 7.4 pts 2.4 rbs

Heath also recruited: Afam, Luster, Luke, Waddell, Thiam

The guy knew and could get talent! What a bad coach, honestly...

Well, I think Waddell would have walked on, considering both of his parents played for Wyoming, and would have joined up no matter who offered the scholly.

But overall, yeah. Schroyer's only redeeming quality was that he could find quality players. But he sucked at coaching. As UNLV is finding out the hard way.
