Its funny how everyone forgets that our offense isnt exactly running back friendly. Besides that we dont have an offensive line like those Missouri teams. Also it sounds like everyone forgets about Wick. Every home game I attended he seemed like the guy that would give the most effort on the field. If Wick didnt break his collar bone and miss the last 2 games he would probably be the leading rusher. Now it seems like we have to depend on two unknown commodities inTapscott and stover. If those two can contribute the thats great. We will have a bunch of young experienced backs. Now I think game experience means a lot. Thats where Miller and Wick should be counted on early on in the season. Also Miller is an incredible receiver and Wick was a pretty good receiver too. In this offense the backs really need to be able to catch well. While Stover has good running skills he struggles with catching the ball based off myself being present at all three spring scrimmages. Should a battle come fall camp though. That is exactly what DC wants to create at every position.
