Yeah, I took it to mean that he's going to get input from the NBA people, learn what he needs to improve on (ball handling and outside shooting) and come back for one more year. It's a weirdly-worded and somewhat contradictory message.

I think you are right. I’m sure he was coached to work on things, TOs, etc and use the year to improve.

He's got ALOT to learn and improve upon and i hope he does well in summer leagues and gets the coaching and guidance needed to make it at the next level. But right now he's no where close to being ready. With all the pieces being filled by the portal defectors we have great pieces to win the MWC outright next year and at least get on a NIT run....HT will probably be back as well and Kenny Foster, hopefully Burman extends Linders contract and starts the great build that will be UWs Mens basketball program. Hurry up November, lol
