Oh wait, it didn't happen. WHY THE FUCK NOT? This type of stuff kills me. Burman failed again. Does the guy even give a shit anymore?

Maybe Bohl is flying around looking for a QB?

2 hours after a press conference that was held right there - on campus? If so, bad move on all accounts. If not, bad move on all accounts.

I sat thru our crap halftime entertainment expecting see Bohl introduced also. I guess Burman was too busy raising New Mexico's basket to get Bohl introduced.

Maybe they were going to but then postponed it because of UNM claiming we were cheating.

As I was driving to Laramie for the game last night, I thought I would tune in to the local radio stations and listen to the press conference. Nothing on KOWB & nothing on 95.1 fm. After the game and the drive home, the local news was already long over - long story short, I have no idea what was said in the press conference.
I was expecting a halftime introduction also.

I hoped for it as well but alas nothing.
He and his wife were court side though. I was impressed how into the game his wife was. She was pissed in OT

I can't believe he was there and they didn't bother to do an intro...at least to get a round of applause and some chatter in the crowd about season tickets.

Another blown opportunity! :tickedoff:

Leia is awesome, she's a trooper! Craig went to quite a few games in basketball, baseball, wrestling while at NDSU. not to introduce him , even during a timeout, was a wasn't opportunity!!

I don't think this is something to be up in arms over. Whether or not a coach was introduced at halftime of a basketball game will have zero affect on anything.

When DC was hired I don't remember him showing up or giving a shit until the last couple years when his image and job were on the line.
If I remember correctly Glenn was at the AA the night he was hired leading a chorus of Rag Time Joe. He was a piss poor coach but he knew how to make a first impression :thumb:

I'm with you- it won't affect anything, but it speaks volumes about direction and day-to-day engagement with vision from the top of the Athletic Department. Bespeaks work ethic and attention to detail, IMHO...

Whomever thinks it will "effect" results, etc., needs to be exterminated. That isn't the point (thank you Wyovanian). The point is, UW's AD department is now showing signs of being complacent and indifferent.

LOL. I always thought there was some passion there, I really did. Further, my estimation has primarily always been that the department was full of bad decision making, bad hires (on all facets - from coaching to staff), no vision / aspiration, and certainly no work ethic or integrity. My "jury" was out on the department being entirely indifferent and complacent. Not now. And it took a small thing like this to open my eyes.

We have some very serious issues.

Who cares! I remember them introducing Schroyer during the WNIT run and we all know how that turned out.

I agree it would have been nice but who knows maybe a scheduling thing and it could be planned for a later date.

Obviously 37, you are not at all involved in marketing, sales, etc., as a career.

And if you read the thread, it clearly states several times that he sat by the court for the game.

Further - wanna bet it will happen at a future game?

We can only hope that the AD was waiting until the students return and there is a bigger crowd at the games to introduce him?

I had heard it was an oversight - that will be corrected. So as far as putting out the message (as you stated) - yep.

Didn't see he was at the game that is an oversight then.
