Looking like Utah to the Pac-10?

All of the reports seem to be leaning toward Utah going to the Pac-10. While this is certainly good for Utah and bad for the MWC, I would hope that it wouldn't be a huge surprise (from one of my sources, it was somewhat expected several weeks ago). So, assuming Utah leaves - I wonder if we add another school or two? I know that many options exist - none seem ideal, especially if the Big XII (soon to be known as the Texas' Ten) stays together. I am not overly excited about Houston - too much of a commuter school. I don't really like Nevada. I hate the idea of Fresno.

In terms of Utah, I would be sorry to see them go - but only because it will hurt the conference. Otherwise, they have become egotistical asshats on par with BYU and are a little much when it comes to bagging on Wyoming - so they can go to hell as soon as the ink starts to dry on the Pac - 12 invite (assuming it happens).

There have been reports of KU going instead of Utah, should A&M decide to go to the SEC.

I think KU would only go if the Texas schools went too. Either way, Utah is probably gone.

But frankly, even if Utah leaves, things are still AOK. Sure I'd like more $ for athletics. Sure I'd like a little more fairness. Sure I'd like to have an annual shot at the BCS and its money. Sure I hate that recruits will choose BCS schools over us. But you know, when I go to the War in the Fall, I really want to watch my Pokes play AFA, CSU, UNM, SDSU - even BYU (even though they are pompous twits). Sure, Utah was another team I really liked to watch. I guess I may just be nostalgic, but for me, winning the Boot, watching a flyover at AFA - pretty cool stuff that will still be there, no matter what Utah does.

I'll take Laramie over any place in Utah any day of the week. Sure SLC is nice to visit, but it's a crazy place overall (especially under the surface), even crazier than Boulder in its own right, just the other side of the spectrum.

Does Utah go? Who knows. After the last 2 weeks of chaos, I'll refrain from any predictions. I've never seen such piss-poor media reporting of rumors.

If the MWC does decide to add someone, I would probably be in favor of SMU. I think thats a program on the rise.

Ive never been to a place that was so full of disrespectful people in my life. Sure I may have had a giant cowboy sticker in my back window but people didnt know that when we left the truck. We didnt talk to one person there that didnt act like a total ass. Was funny too because we had just come from Idaho where people could not have been nicer.

I've found the opposite in my travels in Idaho.. I have a long standing grudge match w/ Northern Idaho currently.
