Looking at getting a "new" truck.

Will be testing it out tomorrow morning. And I've needed a new(er) vehicle for awhile, considering my 1974 Chevy Cheynne series is pretty much done for. The one I'm looking at is a 1992 Chevy S-110 Base.

Looks to be in good shape, but has anyone had any experience with this type of truck before and give me some pointers?

That's older than you are! :)

Wait until 3rd quarter of 2013 and get a Dodge 1500 diesel.

Also.. 2WD in Laramie?

Not quite. I'm 1989. Also, going with what I can afford.

Do you "need" a truck? With all your ailments, you might just an ambulance. Lol.
Fresh out.

Back in the day.. I picked up an 89 Ranger 4x4 extended cab for under $4000 with way less miles than that. You should be able to find something comparable, I would think.

Mine looked a lot like this.. except black and silver

Too big? Dude, it's a Ranger, not a semi. :) I'm a medium sized truck guy too.. I had a 1/2 ton Dodge for a long time.. LOVED that truck. Tons of power... traded it for a Mercury Mariner that I have now. :(

Now I own it! Only thing that really needs to be done on it is that the windshield needs to be replaced and need to figure out the stereo system on it. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it.

Don't ya like an Astin Martin??
OR
How about a McLaren??

Me personally? I prefer a '68 Dodge Charger (or was it a '69?)
'72 Plymouth Barracuda w/ 440 6 pack for me

Was the General Lee a '68 or a '69? I always got the years confused.

It was my favourite number, 69!

Was your favorite?

Yeah, the car was a '69 and 69 is my favourite number.
