Looks like Bosscast is $49.95 a month but they offer a free trial.
I have Xfinity (but not a smartTV). I talked to someone at an Xfinity store and they said I could subscribe to the All Sports option (which would include BTN and CBSSN for the CSU game) for $9.95 a month and this sports option can be cancelled at any time. So for $20 (not including beer) I can watch three Poke games.

No, Bosscast is free: http://bosscast.net/ Whatever you do, don't pay anything.

I can tell you without hesitation it works for me. I watch every sporting event that's televised, from the Super Bowl through tennis matches. I use it for NFL games I can't get with cable, for MLB games...you name it. Certainly every college game that has a feed is on there.

So, I can vouch for just what I said before, and only what I said: Chrome browser, with Adblocker. And if popups slip through, don't click on them.

Now, I stream through my laptop, and often watch the games on the laptop. If I want to watch it on my TV , I connect the laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable.

Some cable/satellite providers allow you to stream the BTN if you go to www.btn2go.com you can determine if you have one of the providers.
I do have Xfinity TV and internet. But when I go to BTN2go I get:

"BTN2Go is available FREE to XFINITY TV subscribers with a BTN subscription. If you do not currently subscribe to BTN, please contact customer service at 1-888-XFINITY to upgrade and start enjoying BTN2Go today!"

So I still have to subscribe to the Xfinity sports package to get the game according to a message from Xfinity when I tried to register for the game. I don't care to watch on a smartphone or PC or anything other than the Iowa game, so this doesn't work for me. There is no free lunch.

Thanks for the info guys. I make a trip every other year elk hunting in Colorado and try to hit up a game in Laramie as its on the way. I've met some pretty great fans. There are always a few bad apples in every group. Again thanks for the information provided, I will definitely check them out!
