Any news on whether or not he's playing? I know most people don't like our chances today, but with him playing, I feel the opposite. We have a lot to play for (seeding) and even if the team looks spent, I think they'll find the energy once the game starts.

I heard he practiced Thursday so that would indicate that he is going to play, and Nance should play as well. However, I don't see Cooke playing today as he was still in some pain.

He did bruise a bone in his back. That shit doesn't go away very easily.

At least Washington and Nance will have a chance to play. Maybe means Sellers as well. Still not sure what to think of him, but if he can positively contribute, I won't complain.

Time to throw him in with the wolves to see what he can do... Sellers needs to get out on the floor and get with it. Best way to work the kinks out.... on the job training so of speaking.

Well it appears the guy can shoot, at least. Maybe he can't defend or rebound, but he made some shots.

Washington, Cooke out. Nance questionable. It's going to be a long 40 minutes.

Where did you hear this? I just listened to Shyatt on the pregame show and he said that Washington was playing.

Derek had his best game of the year, and great energy for being somewhat hurt as well. Keep it up DC

At least we got that going... Getting our young guys some playing time in MWC play is nice.

Ya know, we found ways to win the OOC games with our starters, too bad the starters weren't more advanced, or better as a team in the early schedule so all the young guys could get serious time then, not in MWC play.

But by next year, I think that there should be quite a few players who can contribute all the way through the season.
If Sellers is going to get better, he has to be getting decent playing time in OOC play, not 2 minutes every 5th game.

One thing I did notice with Sellers, he does some great screens. UNLV players would just bounce off of him like they ran into a brick wall. Unfortunetly, the wide open shots he created did not go in.

That really is a team thing though. If there is such a thing as a bad luck team this is it. Sellers had two nice shots that were WAAAY down and came up. How many shots by everyone have we seen the last few games like that? Its insane. Though the one shot last game was because a UNLV player punched it from the bottom of the net but it seems that's ok with MWC refs...
