Leonard Washington suspended indefinitely

Schmoldt just reported on his Twitter that UW suspended Leonard Washington indefinitely. That's not good!
 
Shyatt: "We have certain expectations and standards that members (the) program must meet. At this time Leonard has not met those.

Suspended for a semester for academic reasons, and punching Blake Griffin in the nuts.

This sounds like another academic issue, I think. Better spend the summer fixing it.
 
I know he has been in Cali for a while and is currently on his way back I believe. My guess is he missed a lot of class.

My guess (and it's purely a ponderance based on the lack of specificity of the suspension) is that Washington has played his last game for the Pokes.
 
From what I've heard, it isn't serious. But, something that Shyatt doesn't tolerate (maybe a failed pee test or something). Given the fact he was suspended, but not kicked off the team, suggests to me he can rectify the situation.

indefinitely = not defined. forever............2 weeks..............half a day.

I agree that if he did something truly terrible, he would have been "dismissed" from the team like what coach DC had to do to Turmour Battle and a few others. Leonard will be playing ball for us. Shyatt wanted to let him know that just because the season is over doesn't mean he can fuck off.
 
Also if he was done for good they would have dismissed him so they could use his scholarship. Especially this time of year when they could still go recruit.
 
The three CSU footballers that beat the crap out of 4 students (two seriously) have been suspended "indefinitely", but I'm guessing those guys are through.

i'm betting the "indefinitely" in that situation is pending them being found guilty of the crime
