Last Nights Attendance...Whoa...

Announced 4462...which is pretty bad. What is worse though...is that I doubt the crowd was even half of that.

Could be a combination of things:

1. Poor outing and loss against Fort Lewis on "Raise the Banner" night - exhibition game
2. Poor showing against Indiana Something, including those 15 first half points
3. Still trying to recover from the 2007-2011 failure
4. The reseating of the AA issues (including seat premiums)
5. Level of competition (we will see how true when #14 Cal comes to the AA on Saturday 12/5)
6. Lowered expectations of this young team

7. Out of town fans not wanting to travel since they already have travel plans next week for turkey day?

What were the prices last night? With all the above factors, along with it being a Thursday, did the athletics office really expect fans to show up with cash? I feel like all non-D1 opponents should have some sort of promo, like kids are free with a parents ticket, etc.

even the student population was down from normal, it's wasn't horrible from Cheyenne, but they litterally have to close the roads for me not to go, I think tkts upper level go for $13 or 18 something like that....it's truly not a value for the $$ at this point of the season but we all know prices go up once we get into conference season. i think it's mostly level of competition that keeps people away, we can't get the Dukes and Kentuckys to come to Laramie sorry

I still have my season tickets but if the roads are even remotely bad I don't really feel like driving over from Cheyenne to watch us play our 3rd non D1 game of the year and be hassled by the Landmark gestapo, and have to park 10 blocks away despite the hundreds of empty spots right next to the AA.

Many students already gone, and the weather, roads, and opponent all sucked.

Didn't expect much more...

This. I didn't head over from Cheyenne for most these reasons and have been busy lately and didn't feel like leaving town again to head over for a game that we should win handily. Attendance should pick up after thanksgiving.

I'm quite shocked that anyone was surprised about the attendance. It's coming up on a big holiday and it's was a lower division school to be honest I'm shocked anyone showed up.

Last few days the weather has pretty well sucked here. Me? Still laid up from ankle surgery.

I feel like this is a common theme for you.

I'm sorry, that would be a giant pain to have multiple surgeries over and over again.

It is. 5 knee 3 ankle. This last one I had a tendon transplant as mine, in the words of the doctor's assistant "was the worse one she had seen in her 4 years of being with the doctor". See the doctor Monday to get the splint off, stitches out, and a cast put on for the next 4 weeks, still non-weight bearing.

As I mentioned before, I can't make the games because the Misses is not doing well. It looks like I won't be able to make any games for about the first half of the season, so if anyone needs 2 tickets for a game let me know.

Well, I mean they played a glorified high school team, and that's not usually a good draw no matter what the date.
