Just recently, over 20 WyoTech employees were laid off. This, on top of huge enrollment drop-offs for the Laramie campus. WyoTech used to have around 2000 students, now, only around 400-500 in Laramie. This is due to CCI opening schools in Pennsylvania and California as well as getting rid of a bunch of reps that helped steer kids to the school in Laramie. And this death spiral began when CCI took over. Before, WyoTech used to sponsor tons of local events, like rodeos and other activities. Now, you'd be lucky to see a booth or anything like that from them at Freedom has a Birthday. WyoTech in Laramie may not last much longer the way things are going. Yeah, we do give Techers grief over having loud cars, but this school has also done a lot for the local community, like a requirement for students to do community service, out of town buisiness, and helping the school grow.
CCI can go suck it.
