In short, Laramie is going to get a new high school to replace LHS within the next few years, and it'll be located out by the Laramie Rec Center (clear out by Wal-Mart, to those of you who haven't been here in a few years).
It's both good and bad. It's good, because LHS being 50-60 years old badly needs to be improved many ways, and I remember a lot of talk going on back when I was there about adding a whole new wing or something for new facilities. However, the location means it will be quite a ways away from most homes (walked there when not recovering from knee surgery as it was just a short walk from my place).
