Keys to the Game

1. Offensive line play - You better believe everyone saw that performance against Air Force and Utah will be sending everyone - defensive lineman, linebackers, safeties, Alex Smith, the MUSS, Keith Van Horn, Jon Huntsman - after ACS.

2. Get over playing in Utah - For whatever reason, the team has played like CRAP in the state of Utah for like the last decade. I'm thinking it might be a mental thing at this point.

3. Don't beat themselves. Utah beat Air Force and CSU because they turned the ball over at critical junctures and Utah capitalized every single time.

4. Don't be content with just forcing fumbles. Recover the ball as well! I think we've forced 14 or 15 fumbles so far, and only recovered 4 of them? Imagine what our turnover margin COULD have been.

5. In addition to trying to win the turnover battle, make the turnovers count. There's not much that hurts as badly as turning over the ball and getting scored on immediately right after. Make them realize that turning the ball over is costly.

6. Play your hearts out. The more fun our kids have out there, the better they seem to play. Hit HARD, play safe yet unpredictable. Give 100% on every play.

BIGGEST KEY TO THE GAME:

Do not be intimidated. You played with Texas for 1/2 of the football game. Go into Utard and get mean, get mad, get even and get a win.

Coaches: DO NOT BE AFRAID TO GO FOR THE THROAT. GROW SOME STONES ON THE OFFENSIVE PLAY CALLING AND GO FOR THE KILL.

Turnovers... cant have them and gotta take some away!!!
Score Early and Often... If we put pressure on Utah they may make some mistakes
Block and dont allow so many sacks give ACS sometime to make a play
Get to the QB if we cause some fumbles or get some sacks anything can happen
And last but certainly not least Special teams in all aspects... block kicks/punts... made fields goals... pin them deep... cover on kickoff
