Does anyone know if they are planning on putting a commemorative patch on the jerseys for Kenny? A "4" or "Kenny" or patch with an outline of his iconic jumpshot in MSG? Put the same logo on the floor for the rest of the year?
I don't want the University to be callous, but perhaps this would be a good opportunity to finish out the funding for the AA…and do it the right way…the way they designed it from the beginning. Let us schmucks donate what we can and if we hit a certain level ($500,000), the AA becomes the "Kenny Sailors Center". I know the UniRegs specify that a certain amount must be donated before you can name a building after someone…but his goodwill is worth at least half of the cost of the AA. Who else elicits comments about UW and Wyoming from the likes of Bobby Knight, Judd Heathcoat, ESPN talking heads, and countless others?
