The AD said that no one witnessed the incident, I guess that the coach split his own lip and that excuse sounds like NM version of "my dog ate my homework" :brick:

A lot of cover up and 'I didn't see anything' going on in Albuquerque. Locksley has a very young, inexperienced staff and I'm sure they are protecting their jobs. This situation, coupled with the suit against Locksley earlier in the year that was covered up and paid off behind closed doors by UNM, is a disgrace for the Univ. of New Mexico, but the President and AD, both heavily involved with the BAD hire, are covering their arse's! UNM does not only have a BAD football team but they are an institution in grave need of good leadership.

Although I have lost a ton of respect for NM through this whole deal, I still can't help but be excited for our future against them (football at least)...they are the sure win on our schedule every year that Locksley is at the helm!
