He continues to sell out to the big corporations:

And the sad thing is, he was better than anything the Republicans could put out. Not saying much, but damn is Obama's shit getting annoying.

then they better offer a solution. there are major regional cable and satellite gaps... if they are targeting the sports world, then they need to put pressure on tv bigwigs to option out packages, a build your own. leave it be until the consumer can get what we want. the companies will be forced to improve their product.

Completely agree... but instead they're going this route, and paying off the politicians to get what they want... and a ton of people will end up behind bars next to that black kid who got caught smoking weed a third time and is now in for life. While the people who caused the recession are making more money than ever and/or enjoying high up positions in the U.S. government. [/rant]

That article has to be the most asinine thing I've ever read. A felony? Really? So they want watching videos on the internet to have the same penalty as killing someone? That is absolutely ridiculous. Also: Good luck catching the millions of people that are doing this. This will be the same as criminal prosecution for downloading music illegally. There will be a handful of cases, then it will go away because they can't enforce it.

It's not the watching that is a felony, It's the broadcasting and sharing the data. While I agree that it's going way overboard when there is more attention paid to someone sharing a movie online then someone that was raped or murdered it's not really my place to make rules.

That being said it's more likely we will see far less streaming this year from sports that we have ever seen in the past.
