Jonah Field Painting Completed

I guess they didn't learn the first time, but oh well.

Field has been completely painted (yellow areas only). I didn't pay enough attention, but for some reason, I didn't see the new MW logo, just the old one painted again.
 
Confirmed...still the former MWC logo, not the new MW box thing.

And the yellow will not be yellow by the time Nebraska gets to town. Lame.

:thumbdown: since everyone already thinks we're a bunch of podunk hicks....lets look like the only school that didn't get the memo about the new logo :doh: :rant:
 
Maybe they don't have the stencils made yet. I'd like to know if the other schools have the new logo on their field or not as I would be willing to bet we aren't the only school with the old logo. And, why yellow why not brown?

they keep painting game day gold over the old prairie gold and it always wears off after the first couple of games

The new logo will be both brown and gold. The University is going to stitch in a whole new section of turf, not just paint over the old conference logo.

The yellow paint is just going over the top of the old prairie gold that was on the field. Looks great until about halfway through the first quarter of the first game.

I know it's going to be done by the Weber State game, but can't nail it down any closer than that.
 
thank god....tbh i was a pretty big critic of the new logo but seeing it in brown and gold makes it grow on me
