He's playing great behind two true freshman, a redshirt freshman, a sophomore, and a junior. I'm excited to see what he can do with a veteran line that we'll have in a couple years.SDPokeFan said:He's darn-near unstoppable already. Barring injury he will shatter the rushing records at the school.

Did you just have something positive to say about the football team and a current player?![]()
I think they are young and still making mistakes. And, the freshman, both true and redshirt, are all undersized. Jackson started against Wazzu at a whopping 277lbs. The other true freshman starter, Wallace, is only 265, but stands 6'7". And redshirt freshman center Renefee is only 280.ragtimejoe1 said:JimmyDimes said:He's playing great behind two true freshman, a redshirt freshman, a sophomore, and a junior. In all honesty Jimmy, I haven't had a chance to really watch technique, angles, footwork, or intangibles closely on this young group. Are their main problems understanding assignments and being light? In other words, how do you think they project?
There's reason to believe that next year's OL will be beastly. Cummings, Roullier, Jackson, Wallace, Renefee + The three that we've signed that already have college-ready bodies. I think a couple more years in the program is going to put these guys in beast mode. Then, add in the guys in the current recruiting class that appear to be upgrades. I think we'll be dominating the trenches once the depth if developed.
