Does anyone else get the impression that Brian Hill be next to unstoppable in a couple years when all these young lineman have a chance to mature and get more experience? I do.

He's darn-near unstoppable already. Barring injury he will shatter the rushing records at the school.

He's playing great behind two true freshman, a redshirt freshman, a sophomore, and a junior. I'm excited to see what he can do with a veteran line that we'll have in a couple years.

Did you just have something positive to say about the football team and a current player? :o

In all honesty Jimmy, I haven't had a chance to really watch technique, angles, footwork, or intangibles closely on this young group. Are their main problems understanding assignments and being light? In other words, how do you think they project?

I support anyone who suits up for the team, and I recognize we have some good players. There are a whole lot of factors that go into my belief (I'm going to stop talking about said belief. I know you have all had your fill of it). I enjoy watching Hill. Dude runs hard. Kinda reminds me of Marshawn Lynch...only he's not just here so he won't get fined.

I think they are young and still making mistakes. And, the freshman, both true and redshirt, are all undersized. Jackson started against Wazzu at a whopping 277lbs. The other true freshman starter, Wallace, is only 265, but stands 6'7". And redshirt freshman center Renefee is only 280.

I think a couple more years in the program is going to put these guys in beast mode. Then, add in the guys in the current recruiting class that appear to be upgrades. I think we'll be dominating the trenches once the depth if developed.

There's reason to believe that next year's OL will be beastly. Cummings, Roullier, Jackson, Wallace, Renefee + The three that we've signed that already have college-ready bodies. Look out

Good to know. We've speculated a lot on this board about talent vs. coaching. I do think coaching linemen is one thing our previous 2 staffs failed to do.

Here is an interesting link of all 135 former MWC players in the NFL. http://boisestate.247sports.com/Board/59492/Contents/135-Former-MWC-football-players-currently-on-NFL-rosters-38755003" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I didn't look at all of them, but I found 1 3 star recruit for O-linemen and the rest (I looked at) were 2 star or less.

Too bad we can't recruit anyone good to Laramie, huh??

:roll: enough

So, if we are getting good players, is it the coaches Josh? You say all is well all the time, and yet, here we sit 0-3.

All I care about anymore is to see the guys play hard. I saw the first game in person and they did not look like they played hard. The second game was meh. The WSU, they looked like they played hard. And I felt better. But to say all is well all the time, is foolish.

I've never said all is well all the time. But I'm smart enough to realize that this is a process. Things don't happen overnight. Just because we are 0-3, doesn't mean we'll never win another game under Bohl. Just because we recruit good linemen doesn't mean its a coaching failure if we aren't running for 400 yards every game. Doesn't mean it's the players' faults either.

All isn't well all the time, but I'm also not freaking out because we aren't 3-0 right now.

I see your point, but some of us on here have been living this process for decades. Don't discount those same thoughts.
