Sorry about this Beav...

"The goal of phonics is to enable beginning readers to decode new written words by sounding them out, or in phonics terms, blending the sound-spelling patterns. Since it focuses on the spoken and written units within words, phonics is a sublexical approach and, as a result, is often contrasted with whole language, a word-level-up philosophy for teaching reading."

Just curious.

Toss up, to answer the question.

First it was Hawaii & New Mexico, with CSewe of course as my 3 travel game locks.

Then, we dropped the Hawaii plan, and went Oregon & New Mexico, with the Sheep game.

Now, we are debating dropping Oregon for MSU, and still going to New Mexico & the Sheep.

May also try to go to Fresno State, depending on work.

I need a drink.

Sorry for the confusion, Beav...yes, MSU.

We will likely go - in addition to the Sheep and Lobo games. I fear bad things are in store in Oregon (likely in the land of Sparta as well), but what the hell.

Not sure about other games.

ROFLOL

Hawaii fans called Michigan State McChicken State after both played each other years ago. John L. Smith, MSU's HC at the time, bitched about the refs and the calls they (the refs) made that were clearly right. In fact someone made a youtube video about it. It was hilarious.

EDIT: Found the video...

Damnit

Chad Owens is a Wide receiver, Kick returner for the Toronto Argonauts came across him when I was looking for Smith.

Hawaii fans still follow him. Then again, they still follow Colt Brennan even though his career is done and Bryant Moniz. UH is really the only sports "franchise" the State of Hawaii has even though there's over a million people there. Most live on Oahu though.

Will never forget Owens going on a special teams rampage vs. BYU in 2001. Accounted for 2 kickoff returns, and 1 punt return. The BYU blue helmets, gold streamlining days were fun.
