Heard that there is some discussion regarding the “zero week” game and that it might get moved. A little schedule research reveals that our second bye week aligns with a bye week for NMSU on Nov 10.
 
I hope not! That Nov. 10 bye comes at a great time in the middle of the conference season and right before we face the AF and UNM option attacks.

Could be that it works out better for NMSU and Bohl wants more time to prepare a transfer QB. Thanks for the info!!

If I’m the coach, I keep the bye. Conference season is more important.
 
Yeah, the Week 0 game's purpose was to open up a bye for teams that have to play @ Hawaii. Filling that bye with another game doesn't make sense.

Would also mean the young corners make their debut against Wazzu. I kinda liked the idea of them shaking off the rust before facing the offense that will throw it 50+ times.
