The reason? Checking out a thread on the MWCboard, a conversation was started up about Bronco Country and their totalitarian rules there (basically, say anything that might be considered bad about BSU and you get banned). So I decided to check to see what all the hub-bub was about. I go to click on a thread, and it says I have to join. I'm "WTF? Well, okay, its free." Join so I can actually see what they say. 2 threads in, it's a group orgy on how well BSU beat up on their FCS opponent. So I go to post a reply to one of the threads, and it turns out you have to apply for access to even post in a thread or create one!

I shit you not, that is BroncoCountry.

ShaggyBevo, one of the best boards out there, has a minimum 10 post rule before you can create a thread.

I agree. Wyonation is very well organized site and I think gets more views than we think. The hosts of this site are great. What I like about this board is that I have found some diehard Pokes fans...which is cool.

Outside of BeaverPoke predicting the Cowboys going to the Fiesta Bowl, people are realistic.... (just kidding ya BP. I love giving you shi sometimes).

Sidenote, I left SLC Friday night. Stayed in Green River hotel Friday night, Drove to Laramie on Sat morning. Watched the game. Drove back to Green River Saturday night and then back home Sunday morning. $500 or so total to watch the worst team I have seen in all my years (Idaho). Honestly, they looked that bad. Anyway....I probably passed many of you on the streets while there. Looked like a decent sized crowd.

I loved seeing all four seasons in one game.
83 degrees summer at kickoff
spring lightning at half
cold winterish storm at half
beautiful 75 fall football weather to end the game

Then a ridiculous lightning storm in Rawlins on the way home.

One more thing... part of me feels bad for Idaho. Their schedule is filled with being the b#tch for many teams. And two of their "Home Games" are Byes. Sad in a way. The fans by us were awesome. I truly feel bad for their team. As they look at the schedule going to FSU and Miss, you cant help but feel bad. I remember when the Pokes were similar to that back in the day. Just a whipping boy. In some ways, many think we still are. I hope we can ride this out and never be in the cellar that badly again.

We have them, I just kill them before you see them. :) WYCowboy and Okie are good about giving me heads up when they show up.

Thank you. I always check up on the board early in the morning of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday before going off to volunteer at a Oklahoma museum in the research department.

I appreciate Wyonation more than any other sports board.
I made a post a couple months ago about how nice it was. I am on an OS Beaver board, and it is infested with Duck fans and almost EVERY topic turns into a pissing match that goes like this:
"Beavers are good"
"Ducks rule sports in Oregon"
"Only because you guys cheat and Phil Knight buys wins for you"
"Phil Knight doesn't buy us wins, plus he donates money to a lot of schools"
"What ever you guys cheat"

It seriously gets so old, and makes it not very fun.

Wyonation is awesome, plus the format of the website is awesome. None of that "link for every comment" bs that can make one topic take up the entire page.
