If we get that JUCO guy.

Freshmen: Trey Washington,
Sophomores: Josh Adams, Jason McManamen, Aaron Tyser, Jack Bentz,
Juniors: Charles Hankerson Jr., Marquel Curtis, juco guy, Riley Grabau
Seniors: Nathan Sobey

Forwards/Centers:
Freshmen: Keonta Vernon, Alan Herndon,
Sophomores: Austin Holdorson
Juniors: Derek Cooke Jr., Larry Nance Jr., Matt Sellers
Seniors: none

With Hankerson Jr. and Curtis we would have to guys that can score from the outside. Nance can score and grab boards, he just need to play more consistent and like a leader that he will be on the team next season. Cooke can grab boards. Who knows about Sellers...
Vernon sounds like he will be able to play but we won't know til he is here.
We need some big guys that can bang around inside as we have been getting whooped and will be losing Leonard.

A few thoughts:

1. I wouldn't get too worked up about a guy we have just offered. To my knowledge he hasn't visited UW yet or anything (he has visited Tulsa).

2. Having said that, we will almost certainly sign a JC perimeter guy to try to add scoring punch next year, so your roster breakdown is valid. It's probably better to just say "JC Recruit" at this point rather than being fixated on any one player.

3. Agree with the need down low, but I think we will have to hope for development of Nance/Cooke/Haldorson/Sellers/Vernon to fill those spots. It's tough to sign a JC big in the spring that can contribute. We have done it before, but they have typically had various issues (Taylor was an academic question mark, Brown had missed a year of JC due to a bad back which continued to plague him at UW, etc.). We have offered Remi Dibo, but he is definitely more of a stretch 4 (over 40% from 3, only 5 rpg in JC ball).

4. I still think our biggest weakness is the perimeter. Nance and Cooke as sophomores have shown some nice things (Larry was averaging 11/7 before injuries/illness and Derek leads the team in rebounding rate and FG%) and if Haldorson could find about a million calories and weight room in the offseason he has a range of skills. Vernon appears to be the most D1 ready of our recruits and Sellers can maybe add some spot minutes depending on lineups. Overall, I won't be devastated if we go into next year with that group. The perimeter OTOH...ugh. We don't have anybody that has proven to be a reliable perimeter shooter (Trey Washington looks good in HS, but who knows) or create off the dribble. Obviously we hope that Hankerson can add some slashing and he certainly brings size and athleticism to our perimeter grouping that has been sorely lacking. Adams brings it on defense and is a good athlete. I can see him developing into our starting PG for the rest of his career. Still, need some perimeter scoring punch and depth, so that has to be priority number 1 to fill that last scholarship.

The really interesting thing will be whether or not there is any attrition and more than one scholarship to fill.

Since people (fans and Shyatt) are big on Holdorson, and Vernon, I think that we might not need another big guy in this class.
So by the end of next season, do people think that our bigs could have some legit depth? And be playing as a team and not just being carried by Leonard?

And if we get that Curtis guy, I don't see ANY reason as to why, by the time Larry Nance Jr., and his class leave UW, they won't have at least 1 MWC title (whether it is regular season or tourney title).

We would be carried by a core of juniors and sophomores next season with Adams, Grabau, McManamen, Hankerson, Curtis, Nance, Cooke, and Holdorson.

The only player we will be losing (unless there are transfers) after next season is Sobey. This team this year just needs to win a few more games, and make a run in the CBI or NIT, or god who knows maybe make a run in the MWC Tourney to make the Big Dance and open the eyes of other big recruits, and let the team go into the offseason with some confidence and start building for the following two seasons.
When Cooke, Hankerson, and Nance are seniors, (especially if we land Curtis) they are gonna do some damage and that team should win a MWC title.
