that we needed to beat Texas and/or Texas Tech and make a run - this is it. I am not certain what happens in the world of conference realignment and I am quite sure that one good run won't change our trajectory in that space. But I also know that a good run won't hurt. We have the defense for it. If the offense could - for one goddam year - exhibit a slight pulse, we might have a shot. Please, football gods, make it so.

no doubt. a conf championship with a win over either tech or texas would do a lot for us.
