I think we could get college game day with good sales pitch

Listen it's not every day, or week, shit... or season for that matter when two of the top three running backs face off with conference title implications. The storylines are deep 1) different styles of running back 2) slightly different coaching and blocking schemes 3) which defense is going to show up.

Additionally, ESPN likes doing clips around campus. We could show off facilities, we have a double header happening that day so they could have a look at the floor in the AA.

Craig Bohl is in the talked for coach of the year....

Really the list goes on and on.

Weather would be a hindrance though, haven't seen the forecast

Here's how to contact ESPN: http://www.espn.com/espn/customercare/tvindex

Fill out the form for a suggestion and let them know you'd like Gameday to come to Laramie!!!

I'm all for trying it, though I still have a feeling CU's far more likely to get it. Their coach is also in talks for coach of the year, and unless CU or WSU choke this week (could happen, I suppose), it's two ranked teams facing off in a location that's easier to get to than Laramie.

As for now, though, it looks like weather wouldn't be a factor. Laramie's looking at a high of about 50 next Saturday, vs 60 in Boulder. Neither should be a problem at all.
