basketball is trying to take footballs model for success... sell tickets and television sets through offense.

Yay, more free throws. On these ones, I think the guy will bounce the ball a couple of times and then shoot a 15 footer while everyone else stands around and watches.

51 fouls called the other night against the powerhouse UT- martindale.
The second half took forever. I don't know how much more frustration this fan base can muster.
Seriously, trolling the gowyo site- the diehards have had it with Burman, and Christensen quite frankly is a glutton for arrogance. My conclusion is shit can both of these clowns and lets go back to drawing up a real blueprint.
Hoping Sternberg continues his tear on replacing the buds bar crowd and lets move into the present century.

The refs aren't going to change mid-season what they are mandated to emphasize. It will be like this all year.
There will be growing pains and a learning curve like the helmet-to-helmet in football but players will ultimately adapt. Rules changes have happened since the sport was invented and players have always adapted.

The rule doesn't just apply to games Wyo plays in, it's everyone.
Look, the deal with the new rule about the fouls sucks. But the refs are trying to figure it out, when to call it when not to call it. It will be called throughout the season, but not as much as it will be in the first few games.
