I know this loss couldn't come at a worse time but get to the game next week

We still control our destiny and have the chance to win the championship. I know optimism is in short supply after this loss but this is the same team that beat Boise state in large part due to energy from the fans. This is still one of the best starts wyoming has had in a very long time and they deserve our support

Agreed. I don't think we overlooked UNLV. We had a few players that just didn't have good days. Wingard. DJ May. The o-line. We still have 2 games ahead of us in the regular season. And for once, we have been bowl eligible before the last game of the season.

We have won 3x the games we did last year. And almost 2x the year before. We are young, we lack depth, but these next few games are huge for us. If we can get the the conference championship, that gives us a few extra weeks of practice, playing time, and will help to develop us for next year.

We are 6 OT from being 9-1
 
I think everyone should look at the positives. We won the bronze boot, Jim Bridger's rifle, beat a ranked team for the first time in years, we're bowl eligible, and we still control our own destiny. I don't think anyone here had Wyoming being this good this year, so enjoy the ride while you still can! GO POKES!
 
That was a bad loss. Take care of business at new mexico at we'll be playing in the MWC title game. No one saw that coming.

We also have to beat San Diego State in Laramie next week.

Ah crap. I thought the non division games didn't count against us. Not sure why I thought that.

Overall conference record comes first, then divisional....
 
My butt is driving with 2 buddies from Salt Lake for the game!! We have to have a HUGE fan turnout on saturday to pick these boys up!!!!
 
Wouldn't miss it. We've played awesome at home this year, and hopefully yesterday brought this team back to earth. On to SDSU.

+1 to all except puppet man. The loss sucked, but all is technically not lost. Pretty much everything that went wrong did and we still should have won. I still love this team and have had more fun this year than any I can actually remember
 
We truly DID over look them to get to the next game and if it's like that next week, we'll all wonder why we came to see the fiasco in Laramie against SDSU. Seen it year in and year out and my hopes get up and then to go on the road and look like last years team, can't stop anybody. Better shore it up as Pumphrey may go for 300 against us. So disappointed still, grrrr.....but like everybody's saying, (at least we're bowl eligible) grrrrrr. win the last 2, nuff said
