I have never seen the Coaching Carousel for football to be

turning so fast on a national level before. Gosh, every school in the country is searching for a football coach. Either a HC or some type of assistant.
 
Expectations have changed. P5 programs are no longer content with being pretty good and going to New Years Day bowls they want to consistently compete for conference championships and a spot in the playoffs. Graham was fired from ASU after beating UA and had a pretty good record. Plus a lack of quality candidates makes for an ever revolving door. Tennessee backed out of hiring Schiano and will have to settle for their 3rd, 4th or 5th choice. After that episode coaches will take a good hard look at going to Knoxville.

After what has happened in Knoxville for the last three coaches I think is a bigger telling story and that is why no one is jumping forward to take the job. UT fans are very impaitient and coaches know that. UT did the worst thing possible when they fired Phil Fulmer. That episode has come back to haunt them many times.

I heard on ESPN this year there are more coaching changes in the SEC than any one single year.
