Yeah, I saw the shirt earlier this year. I don't think that the state flag design was ever in question. I'm pretty sure the American flag design was the one that there was a problem with.

the state flag logo has been okay the whole time
the american flag logo is the one that was in issue, and still is. Some guy got it copyrighted after 9/11/01 and then after we brought it out for the 9/11 game last season, it wasn't okay to sell anymore as the guy who had it copyrighted sued. I believe.

There was no lawsuit. Whenever you alter the American flag you have to get it approved by the government. Don't remember what office. So Pro Tuff, the decal manufacturer, was not doing this at all. Matter of fact it wasn't just Wyoming. It was all those schools last year that put the flag in their logo. The reason they both got pulled initially was just a precaution until they found out the ramifications.
