Hunter Maldonado commits to Cowboys

A high-flying Colorado kid who comes up with a clutch game-winning tip-in....I feel like we've heard this story before. Not quite the same stakes or atmosphere in this game though.

Always looking out for his teammates and putting the success of the program before his own is something Hites admires about Maldonado.

"It's special to run across a kid with that kind of talent, but who's still humble," Hites said. "On top of his athletic ability, Hunter has no baggage - he gets great grades and is a wonderful representative of his school and team, which is rare this day and age. He'll always be a great kid, and will represent whatever college he goes to very well."
