Good stuff from Robert on this one.

Wow. Lots of nuggets in there. I'll withhold my Burman comments, but reading his comments makes me wonder what his patience level is regarding this rebuild.

The other thing that stuck out to me was this:
According to figures from Sparks, UW spent $7.5 million on football in 2014-15.
Football generated $10.9 million, but Sparks said after “subtracting game management operational expenses related to football,” the sport generated $2.6 million.

That is confusing. Does this mean that total costs for football were $7.5 million and revenue was $10.9 million for a profit of $3.4 million? Does it mean that profit is $3.4 million but there is an additional $800K in expenditures that aren't included in the $7.5 million so the actual profit is $2.6 million? Does it mean that football generated $10.9 million but game management cost $8.3 million (not counted in $7.5 million) so total revenue is actually $2.6 million - $7.5 million in expenses = football loses $4.9 million?

I don't understand that comment. Any ideas?
