How is attendance going?

It has been bad (I havent seen the numbers, just going off what i've seen in the AA) but that doesnt really surprise me. People are still upset after the last few years. Plus these early games never draw very good attendance. That Thorpe tourny was over Thanksgiving so very few students and lower turn out in general. But, you can tell a difference in the atmosphere in the Arena. People are more excited and more interested in this team. Its nice to see real professionals at the bench coaching.

Is the 'Sixth Man' thing still going with the students?

Hell, the whole conference is looking pretty sharp this year, sure would be nice to have the 'Dome of Doom' back in full swing. UNLV, SDSU, and the Lobos might all be ranked when they swing through Laramie. It's been a long time since we took some scalps on our court. I know it is early for the new HC but, I am a little impatient.

Not sure about the Sixth man. It seemed to be almost dead last year. The student attendance was about as bad as I can recall.

I can tell you I will NOT be in attendance this evening. I'm sure the impending weather will keep lots of folks at home.

We had planned on going to the game tonight, but with the weather forecast for tonight, we decided to stay home. We rarely do this, but we didn't want to get stranded in Laramie tonight.

Eh it was a little better than sunday but overall I think they have been better than the last 3-4 years at this time. And the crowd has been much louder than recent years. Especially the student section. IMO the dome of doom will be at least half full come conference play. I think we could be 1-2 games over the win totals for the past 2 seasons when we hit MWC play.
As far as the roads they were fine in Laramie and coming out. We only hit snow when we got into the canyon on 34. It was a couple inches deep but the road was fine since it was 60 here earlier :thumb:

I've got to find a better weather forcaster to watch/listen to. The one I have been listening to has cried wolf a couple of times when it turned out to be not too bad.
I thought Utah Valley was supposed to be a tough team, but we handled them fairly easily last night. Good to hear Afam getting back into the action and doing well.
