So, uh how the hell does athletic department come up with another $4 million?

Extra 5,000 fans at football games at $25 a piece = $750,000
Extra 3,000 fans at basketball games at $20 a piece = $900,000 (-400K for new coach) = 500K
Potential proceeds from suites in AA = $200,000? (I believe the Wildcatters bring in about 500K)
Renaming the AA = $300,000/year (Boise got $266K/year in 2004)
Reinstating $1.2 million in state funding

Total so far = $2,950,000

No shit, why don't we sell beer. 4$ a beer will make our athletic program wealthy and will would probably stop fans from getting inebriated on smuggled whiskey.

When I heard Burman mention this, I was wondering the same thing.

I know one thing, if something isn't done with the BBall coach, they can subtract my modest 500 ducats next year from the 4 million. I'm bone tired of mediocrity and am damn sure not going to finance it anymore.
