Hire Joe Glenn for AD

I just turned on the South Dakota-Montana game and they started talking about Joe Glenn. How he won 2 titles at Montana, and won the Vegas Bowl over UCLA with Wyoming, and is now at South Dakota.
They talked about how charismatic he is and how he is still beloved in in Missoula. I think he is still pretty loved here in Laramie as well.
But any ways, they talked about how he rejuvenated the South Dakota football program. Brought back their school fight song and some other things.
Then they talked about how the defense is the strength of their team (anyone on here could have told you that lol ).
But Joe Glenn may not be a great recruiter or D1 coach, but there is no denying that he "gets it".
He might not understand how to do it, but he gets it. He gets in the way Tiger Woods swing coach "gets it" but can't really do it.
Hire Glenn. We will get all the best traditions we want, and he would absolutely rejuvenate our fanbase (again).
Glenn for AD.

What makes you think he would come back to a place he got fired from? By the way he's doing what he loves, coaching. I remember an article several years back where he said he wasn't interested in a AD position anywhere and if he got back into college athletics it would be to coach. Oh and one other thing, he only one 1 title at Montana and 2 at N. Colorado.

What makes me think he would come back to Wyo?
Uhh...nothing. At all.
Not every post on here has to have every last detail worked out before the post is made..

Wow I'm sorry before I made this post I should have contacted Joe Glenn and found out if he wanted to be an AD at the school that fired him. I'm so sorry Zappinpoke. Sorry for being a fan, and thinking Joe Glenn could get it done, I shouldn't have made this post.

Seriously though? Who gives a shit if he doesn't want to come back to Wyo, and not ever be an AD. It's just an idea. An idea that I like.

I liked your idea Beaver. Don't know what kind of AD he might be in the end, but he would be an improvement over the current AD=no doubt

I like the idea too, at least from a smoozing perspective. He was definitely good at getting donors to open their wallets. He was not good at letting ineffective assistants go however. I shudder to think how long he would hang on to a guy like Heath Shroyer.
