But can you imagine Chris Boucher on this years UW team, instead of who Shyatt (had to) settle on? Gotta think that he would be worth a 6 or 7 game swing on the overall W/L record. Maybe more.

Well what if we would have picked up Boucher and then he decided to stay in school for his senior year next year and we added Williams also from Gillette for next year. Our front line would be Boucher and Williams who both average a good amount of points, rebounds and blocks per game. I figure if we are doing the hypothetical deal I would go all out on it and dream

Beat that horse...he didn't want to play for Wyoming.

No shit? He probably would be here if he did...at least that is what common sense would tell me.

That, and if a couple schools on his recruiting list hadn't offered him (Oregon, maybe Memphis, maybe Texas Tech) - that may have kept him in Wyoming.

When you don't recruit him until the end of his season, pretty hard to stir up much interest with him. One of those things we will never know but I would hope Shyatt has strong ties to the JUCO coaches in the State and would jump all over the Boucher or Williams. There seems to be some above average talent that passes through Region 9 basketball. No reason UW cannot capitalize on some of that talent.
